Last week, I flew to Minneapolis on Sunday night for work. I had the opportunity to perform a peer review for an accounting firm there. As always, i had great intentions of using the gym - i felt the need to exercise a little bit. And as always, it didn't happen. After early mornings, 10 - 12 hours at the office, then a lengthy dinner out with different members of that firm, i found myself back at the hotel at 11pm, with a VERY full belly. so, forget good intentions, i never found my way to the gym... i did, however, eat a lot of food over the course of the week.
the good news was i flew home a day early, and got to spend friday home with the family. to top off the exhaustion from the trip, though, i drove to buffalo by way of rochester saturday night, arriving around midnight. up at 7 to get to the parking lot at Ralph Wilson Stadium, ingested roughly 3,000 calories of junk food, went to the Bills game, left the parking lot around 5:15, drove by way of rochester back home, arriving home around 11:45pm.
Monday - up early, long day at work followed by a black tie dinner wrapping up around 11pm. home, and quickly to bed. by tuesday, i am not sure how i was functioning. it's been a LONG time since i've been that worn out.
that, my friends, was last week. and thats all i will say about that.
