CRUNCH!!!

Today ended badly. Very badly.

Lets focus on the good first. Today we went to the Largest RV Show in America. The grandparents (all of 'em) came up to go with us. Five hours of walking in the rain would, you would think, be no fun. oh, so wrong. it was a blast. the kids had the time of their lives, and i think will remember the "Camper Show" for a long time. the parents saw a LOT of units we wanted to drive home with us. a few in particular, from pop ups to pullin' campers to class c right to the diesel pushers. awesome. we found "the one", and it was well within price range, but i think we've decided to hold off one more year before we take the plunge. next year, we go to the show with a checkbook!

and the bad news... after the family dropped me off at the office to get my car, i was driving home. got to a red light. the car in front of me stopped. i stopped. the truck behind me (pick up, not peterbuilt) did NOT. not even a slow down, as far as i could tell. crunch went the 4Runner's tailgate. then i slid, hitting the car in front of me. so smush went the 4Runner. i am NOT a happy man. not at all. my car is battered and bruised. no injuries, so thats good, but it sucks eggs. and thats how i really feel.
